they might be giants are the only group i can think of. and it's more for
them that i can hear the subtle strains of mathematical theories (triangle
man), politcal commentaries (your racist friend, an ng), social commentary
(they'll need a crane)

etc.

i know this isn't quite what you had in mind whomever saked the good
question. but i think the sign of an intelligent mind/band/musician also
entails the ability to take what's around you and be clever in your
presentation of it...

something like that
