Across the Arkansas River from Conway, Arkansas is the sleepy town of
Toad Suck. 
Legend has it that someone observed patrons in a local drinking
establishment consuming liquor until they puffed up like toads.

p.s.Just north of Conway is Pickles Gap.

p.p.s. All three towns are now dry. 

p.p.p.s. the late Conway Twitty got his stage name from Conway,
Arkansas, and Twitty, Texas

p.p.p.p.s. Every May, the Toad Suck Festival is held at Toad Suck Square
in downtown Conway.
