Libertarianism (No OTR, very little Amelie) Oh! Canada
Peter Chattaway did mention:
"In Canada, the government actually taxes the sales of blank tapes and
CD-Rs with the intention of giving the money to the industry."
Taxes are good for the taxpayer, and apparently, good for big business.
I pay full state merchandise tax on food and medicine, state income tax,
full state service tax on doctors and dentists, and people wonder why
neighbouring states seem to do so much better, and the only industrial
activity is the closing of facilities.
I am asking my state representative to submit a bill seeking status as
an honourary Canadian province.
I would move into the militia compound, but, pizzas aren't delivered
that far out, and foreign cigarettes are hard enough to find in the
city.
p.s. enough ballot boxes were stuffed and lost to give the few electoral
votes to Albert Gore, Juniour.
p.p.s. I found a promotional battery-powered analog desk clock,
promoting Prozac, at a thrift store, and the face is real wrist-slitting
glass. The clock was being pulled apart by the warping of the frame,
apparently by intense heat. A genuine Salvador Dali image.
p.p.p.s. Bill and Chelsea Clinton seem to like to throw back a lot of
Ketel One vodka, which seems classier than W. and Jeb Bush's daughter's
poisons of choice.
