Re: What's in Your Car TODAY

I made a few additions to what's in the car and on the
walkman at work today, so, since the topic is still hot, I
thought I'd share:

The Beach Boys. Pet Sounds. This is the 30th anniversary
stereo remix version. So beautiful. I'm in a mood to hear it
because my love interest is in New Jersey and I'm in
Arkansas, so that line in "Wouldn't It Be Nice" 'We can say
goodnight and stay together'seems rather poignant today.

The Beatles. Revolver. Is it possible to listen to Pet
Sounds without first listening to Revolver?

Sarah McLachlan. Remixed. A virtual greatest hits for Ms.
McLachlan by virtuoso mix artists like BT, Hybrid, DJ
Tiesto, William Orbit, etc. The transformations these songs
undergo is nothing short of revelatory. It opens up a whole
new emotional edge to her music. I, for one, would be one
fan who would not be disappointed if Sarah did an all
electronic album.

BT. Rare & Remixed. Again, kind of a greatest hits +
rarities. it lacks the emotional punch and coherency of the
import version of *Movement In Still Life*, but the mix work
is really, really nice.

(Whatever is said in Latin sounds profound.)
