the case in the car holds 60. since i thought last year i had my
changer-magazine lost or perhaps stolen outta my trunk, i decided that the
better idea would be to only keep burned-cd's in there from then on.
nothing terribly valuable lost then, right? anyway, the good news was
i had just misplaced it amongst little ian's videos. one day it
surfaced again and i was happy.
so....we won't go into what's in the case-O-sixty. here's the 6 that are
freezing their little cd asses off in the trunk:
1) nick cave and the bad seeds ___the boatman's call__ (i like nick)
2) indigo girls __1200 curfews__ #2 (yum!)
3) cracker __the golden age__ ( i see cracker is (at least on their new
5th album which this one *isn't*) signed onto Back Porch Records now.
this particular cracker isn't my favourite, i notice.)
4) (i'm dying to find out what i put in #4 slot....i really was digging it.
i was gonna even pull it out one day to check, i was so happy with it. but
i didn't. thanks to this thread's author for incentive. it's)
the kennedys __evolver__
one of our losties keeps her magazine under her front seat for e-z checking
and loading. mine wouldn't fit there. the cord won't reach all the way
from her front seat to my car. damn.
in fact, since i've got the magazine right here, let me pop out the
waterboys from ye olde ceedee player and pop in the kennedys instead......
oh, hell... what, it'll play in my frozen, crappy $99 wal mart brand
trunk changer with the pronounced sibilance, but it won't play on the
fuc*in' Yamaha? life hates me. okay, good, 4th time's the charm!
we're golden now. on to the rest O the magazine....
5) paul mccartney __flaming pie__ (okay, i pretty much hated that, but
then i've pretty much hated everything he did post-beatles. wanted to give
it a shot, though. fair me.)
damn, this kennedys album is good. damn, i can't spell kennedy.
<---there, that time i did. i always hit "yd" instead of "dy" and then
have to backtrack and fix it. i know you hadn't noticed, i just wanted
to be honest and let you see behind the curtain.
#6) Ferron __phantom center__ (aaack! i make a rule for myself, and
then i break it. this one is an honest-to-god factory cd.) it is the one
that is spinning in the car (well, *was*) with the current turn of the
ignition key. went through all the others since loading the trunk,
yeah, even flaming pie. i think i was digging ferron more than i remember
digging her (them?) in my house on the few plays through her (them?) that
i'd given her (them?).
but i'm really digging the kennedy's! whee!
there, look, i even buggered up the spelling there that time. see, i put
in an apostrophe. but i left it there, for you, the viewer. such is my
level of trust with you.
hahaha, what the hell kind of mood am i in today? where did this come
from?
oh, sports fans? anita? a sport qwestion for you: these "new
england" patriots. New England is a pretty large region, yes?
pretty much from Maine down to New York or thereabouts? so.....do these
guys have stadiums all over the place, like one in Rhode Island (hi,
lori!) and one in Massachusetts, and one in Vermont, maybe one in
Connecticut (hi, terri!) and they just play all over their region? or
is there one stadium somewhere, like Boston Mass, maybe, and they play
their home games there?
that seems more reasonable.
is the XFL still extant?
(that was another sports qwestion, wasn't it?)
