cake - comfort eagle - just saw them last night and i was doing last-minute
studying to prepare for the show. they played at taft (same as otr's
christmas show) and we had second row tickets! yay!
various - what it takes to please you - holy cow can this album be talked
about any more? i really like it now
madonna - ghv2 promo 2cd remix set cdr - best remixes of the past 10 years.
has it's moments.
robbie williams - swing when you're winning (import) - recorded at capitol
in la, it's a bunch of stylin' covers mostly. awesome. can robbie be any
cooler?? hey - and any of you brits that know better and just want to rain
on my parade, don't bother.
a series of four cdrs i'd burnt last summer - in the twilight of napster's
day, i'd downloaded all these things i'd had on vinyl and weird versions and
put them quickly in no order onto cds. so they're random odd things that
don't go together but are fun. my favorite example of bad song sequencing:
face to face's 10-9-8, emm gryner (she's sort of like over the rhine in
style) did a demoish piano only version of foo fighter's i'll stick around,
the jackson's blame it on the boogie, then the replacements' alex chilton.
whoo, none of those songs belong together.

prince - lovesexy - has there been a more annoyingly put together cd? 10
songs all on one cd track? criminy.
