Its funny how much we all have in common :*)
What has been most influential... How could I possibly narrow it down to
one?
Not all have influenced me in a profound way but have influenced me
nonetheless...
CDs:
R.E.M. - Automatic For The People
OtR - Good Dog Bad Dog & Besides
Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness
Indigo Girls - Swamp Ophelia
Sarah McLachlan - Fumbling Towards Ecstasy
Fleetwood Mac - "25 Years: The Chain" box set
Skillet - Ardent Worship
Movies:
Princess Bride (basically defines my childhood)
Rocky I, II, and IV (I know its silly, but I cry every time... is this too
much self-disclosure for my very first post??)
Poem:
"Hey You" by Linford (This one makes me think. I noticed it was mentioned
during that whole "fuck" hoop-la. Did y'all notice its poem of the week on
the OtR site?)
Book:
I have dozens and dozens of half-read books with the bookmarks still in
them. If one happens to influence me enough to finish it then I'll let you
all know. I was thinking about picking up an Oliver Sacks' book and reading
it all the way through. If anyone can suggest a book that may hold my
attention, I'm all ears.
