ohh . . . that reminds me of something that might mess with some of y'all's heads.
i was watching  . . . no, let me rephrase.  I was sitting in the room while my wife was watching a "behind the music" type thing on destiny's child, or the Dixie Chicks, or something like that.  anyway, i remember one of them saying something that their manager told them when they first started to "make it big" by selling a lot of cd's.  he said that don't think of CD's as your money makers . . . think of them as marketing tools for people to come to your concerts and buy your merchandise, because that's where the real money comes from, and that's where they (the band) will get most of the profits.
just food for thought, and for the record, i'll download songs, and since i don't have a burner, if i want the CD i have to buy it.
