Ingredients

1 ea Flank Steak
to taste Soy Sauce
to taste Salt & Pepper
1 teaspoon Thyme Dried Crumbled
2 3/4 cup Shallot Chopped
1 1/4 cup Red Wine
1 stick Butter
to taste Salt
2 tablespoon Parsley Chopped

Instructions
Brush flank steak with soy sauce and sprinkle both sides with salt, ground pepper, and the thyme. Let stand for an hour.

Brush again with soy sauce and broil (or grill) for 3-4 minutes per side (for rare steaks; longer time for more done).

Carve with a sharp knife in thin slices on the diagonal.

For the sauce, combine the chopped shallots (or green onions) and the red wine in a small saucepan. Bring just to boiling and add the stick of butter and stir until butter is melted. Salt to taste. Add chopped parsley to the sauce and spoon over the steak slices.
