Ingredients

SWEET DOUGH
3 ounces Butter
3 ounces Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 each Egg
16 ounces Flour
pinch Baking Powder
FILLING
8 ounces Pumpkin Puree
1/2 cup Brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon Ginger
TOPPING
5 tablespoons Butter
2/3 cup Brown sugar
2 cups Pecans
2 tablespoons Bourbon


 

Instructions
STEP ONE: MAKE THE FILLING
-COMBINE ALL INGREDIENTS TOGETHER AND KEEP ASIDE

STEP TWO: MAKE THE DOUGH
-ADD BUTTER WITH SUGAR AND VANILLA, MIX WELL AND ADD EGG
-BLEND FLOUR WITH BAKING POWDER AND ADD TO BUTTER MIXTURE
-ROLL INTO THE MOLD
-ADD FILLING AND BAKE @ 350 AROUND 15 MINUTES

STEP THREE: MAKE THE TOPPING
-COOK BUTTER WITH SUGAR UNTIL CARAMELIZED
-CHOP PECANS AND ADD TO BUTTER
-ADD BOURBON

STEP FOUR: READY TO EAT
-ADD WARM TOPPING TO THE WARM PIE
-SUGGEST WHIPPED CREAM ON THE SIDE OR VANILLA ICE CREAM
