DINNER 327: Friday, November 24, 2006

I had today off as part of University of Cincinnati’s Thanksgiving holiday. I got up around 8:00am and worked on a few things (emails, inquiries, adding a feature or two to the Over The Rhine site, etc). I was out the door by 11:30am, expecting mobs of people participating in Black Friday sales. Little did I know that by 11:30am, Black Friday was just a fading memory. My path even took me through Wal-Mart, the epicenter of all shopping idiots, and it wasn’t terribly crowded.

After shopping for a while, I came home and enjoyed some quiet downtime. Wendy & I went for a quick dinner at our local Chinese buffet, and it was decent.
