DINNER 177: Monday, June 26, 2006

Tonight was a very simple dinner — a Tuna Melt made with oil-packed tuna, scallions, a bit of onion, mayonnaise, salt & pepper, then loaded on toast and topped with sliced fresh tomatos and cheese. Pop it under the broiler for a moment or two,…

DINNER 178: Tuesday, June 27, 2006

A simple dinner this evening since Wendy had appointments this evening. I ran through Taco Bell for a couple tacos and a chili-cheese-burrito. When Wendy got home, we watched the latest episode of HELL’S KITCHEN and saw Tom get kicked off, which we both felt…

DINNER 179: Wednesday, June 28, 2006

Tonight’s meal was at TACO CASA at the mall. Wendy had Bourbon Chicken from one of the Asian places therein. We went to pick up TITAN QUEST, a game Wendy has been looking forward to. She’s playing it now, thoroughly addicted.

DREAMFALL graphics bug.

I’m spending time installing DREAMFALL and SHADOWGROUNDS, though DREAMFALL is currently giving me fits. DREAMFALL came on 6 CDs (and the store didn’t have the DVD option, darn it), so installing is a long process of swapping discs. I installed it once to find that the game’s graphics are all messed up, so I’ve uninstalled it, will reboot and attempt to install it again.

DINNER 180: Thursday, June 29, 2006

I had Chef Boy Ar Dee Ravioli for dinner this evening, just a very simple dinner because I forgot to eat before our Salsa class. That’s right… A SALSA CLASS. In Wendy’s continuing quest to kill me by overworking me, she’s signed us up for a…

DINNER 181: Friday, June 30, 2006

DINNER 181: Friday, June 30, 2006

A fun, different kind of dinner this evening. We joined our friends, Dave & Robin, at the campsite where they are spending the weekend in Winton Woods Park. We grilled burgers and hot dogs over an open campfire (a few extras were cooked on their portable propane grill), ate fruit salad & a green salad (and gelatin parfait), took a walk around the campground, and then made S’Mores over the same fire. It was a lot of fun, and Wendy & I didn’t realize we had nice campgrounds so close to our home (Winton Woods Park is about 3 minutes from our house).
