What do i do if its not shooting the ussual distance it should? I found it goes alot further when you cut the jumbo potatos in haf.

You should be able to get the sparker at any hardware store. It’s usually an igniter for a gas grill. You can see the type of igniter at http://www.grillstuff.com/ungrig.html or http://www.bobvila.com/Shop/Burners_and_Parts-Grills-Lawn_and_Garden-1.html.
