this made my day.  so, somebody else out there knows the genious that is 
gene eugene?  or port portland, as he called himself when i saw him and mike 
knott in Eugene, OR last last spring.  he came on before mike as a 'special 
guest' with greg lawless, and would only play two songs.  we did what we 
could to get them to play more, but, alas, it was mike's show.  one of the 
most powerful voices i've ever been in the same room with.  besides karin, 
of course.
so, do you have Perfecta, as well?  there was supposed to be another record, 
entitled Golopogos(sp?), but it was shelved and is now gathering dust 
somewhere.  how depressing are the machines of the media.
