Hi-ho D.M. the promo-whore here...
With the itinerary for our grand freakshow this weekend....

Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Cat's books is a rare performance from one of Ohio's 
most popular poetry teams- 2 charming Jedi Poets/ one more from the hat 
featuring Puck B. Smith and that D.M. guy

Finishin up in time to run up to Brady's Cafe for the Brady's open poetry 
reading which will start at about 8:30 and end when were done or really need 
to go to the bar.

Or you can go tot the Kent State Folk fest, now in its 33rd year (Yep, 
that's right, we've been holding folk fests longer than we've been shooting 
students) Friday's headliner will be DAR WILLIAMS!!!


Saturday all day at the folk fest will be performances and workshops by a 
host of wonderful local and national acts, Saturday's headliner is JOHN 
PRINE (who wrote that album- Jesus,the missing years.)

But you all are coming to see Bink at the Brady, right? That'll start around 
8 and you should be there because what else did you come here for (unless 
you live here and then it's what else you gonna do for cheap?)

SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY!!!
after you've spent 15 minutes wondering where the hell you woke up, what 
city are you in and was that just a dream about sheep---
There's likely to be a brunch at Mike's place around 1- and if you're family 
and have been wndering what the hell's been down with the mojo of this town- 
you might want to attend too.
for you non-locals- ask a towniee for directions or drive around alot. you 
can't miss that X-wing.

that afternoon D.M.'s band the deadly 7 will be practicing. This is a 
warning not really an invitation to watch. Especially if you have a hang 
over. Or you can come anyway. Your funeral, my hangnail.



That night at the barking spider tavern a short jaunt up the highway in 
University circle will be an erotic poetry reading by some of 
Cleveland/Kent's finest. Not featuring that D.M. guy. But many of his 
mentors and compatriots.
