Actually, it was during my college days that I "discovered" the beauty of
the old stuff:  Janis Joplin, Doors, Kinks, et.  I guess the most
significat new discoveries (watch me date myself) would be Tears For
Fears (pre-Big Chair), Big Country, and Seventy-Sevens.  I'm not sure
Goth even existed in the early eighties.
