I wouldn't.
I am of the opinion that labelling christian anything but a person profoundly
cheapens the name of Christ. Christian music, christian songs, christian
songs, christian festivals, christian merchandise at large--mass-produced
shirts, coffee mugs, and bumper stickers with trite but halfway-catchy
phrases. Must i share my distinction of being a christian with art and
consumers' eye candy? In plastering that name on so many things, it takes
Christ from being...well, from being Christ to being the God of
commercialism--which, i think, is an enormous condescension.
In short, i do not believe there is christian art. I believe there is art.
Some by christians, some by non-christians. But it's art. To put such a
label on it, i think, is an insult.
