Re: Pop Muzik

Hey, Ysoie--

Maybe you could replace Ginger Spice. They could use a Goth Spice.
:)

Hope everyone is doing well. I've been away, absent. I got busy with work,
and then I had to fire planetaccess because they bite!! So far so good with
netscape.

Now, back to the string:
There's nothing wrong with pop music. I dig it. I even own an Alanis
Morisette album and I think I have a Madonna tape somewhere. Some people
consider the Beastie Boys pop. I was excited for Sixpence the first time I
heard them on the radio driving around in Austin. I saw a snippit of the
video the other day at Mars and was equally as excited for them. As has been
said before, the problem is not the "becoming mainstream," it's the attitude
taken by the artists after the fame hits. I'm sure that is what makes OTR
fans nervous about the band making it big. Most fans probably don't think
that OTR would become ridiculous, or compromise their music--but no one can be
sure.

Back to happier, lighter thoughts. Which Spice would Ysoie stand next to??

glad to be back
