YES!!!!!!!!

even though i mentioned the possibility of a laser player that may
"remedy" some of that, i miss the "snap crackle pop " of old vinyl.
it's interesting to note of various musicians (like Matthew sweet and
Portishead) who add the sound on their CDs. 

i recently pulled out a really old miscelaneous tape i hadn't listened
to in years and squealed with joy when i heard the familiar sound
behind the sound....

sigh.
