i don't dig haiku
they are not even real poems
that's what my friend says
yet i disagree
sometimes, very late at night,
i think in haiku
i am in georgia
mom is getting on my nerves
merry xmas, yo.
linford detweiler
and the lovely ms. bergquist
make me want to sing
over the rhine's songs
tend to appeal to heathens
and christians alike.
i must stop this now
or i could go on all day
but the pizza's here
can i close this out
without ceasing to haiku?
