Unfortunately, any studio recording of GDBD wouldn't include the fully
formed, mature version of Willoughby currently being heard at select dates
on the Monk tour.  GDBD (tHR) is a document from a band that no
longer exists quite the same as it did before.

Maybe they could do something more along the lines of a bonus EP with the
first XXX copies of the new album, containing selected studio-improved
tracks from the GDBD songs.  Or we could get a string of specially released
singles, containing an A-side of the home-recorded track along with a
B-side of the studio-recorded version.  Available only to Rhinelanders, of
course.  Or how about a live album, since the versions everyone is coveting
are the live versions of these songs?  Or all of the above, as an initial
show of marketing support from their (hopefully) upcoming new label.
