music for spring

it been raining here, long slow drips on the tin roof out back.

i started digging up a section of the yard, i'm going to plant jalapenos -
and phooey on the dog from upstairs who lives in our basement if he getss
in them - he'll burn his mouth.

i am setting them in these teeeny pots until they sprout and it's warm
enough here to plant them.

i decided to also plant parsley and cilantro in pots, since they are
zealous in the ground breaking...

what will you do for spring?

dave is working on his thesis, the wild-eyed kitty is stalking the
ladybugs who have now appeared again, and i'm not yet willing to take the
plastic off the windows - so the house feels stuffy and chilly all at the
same time. it's the perfect time to blast Eve at the top of the stereo
(not that the neighbors will complain, since they're blasting the same 5
chords, and have been for the past 3 days)
