from barry's indirect prompting, i pulled out my
bought-in-1992-but-still-unread copy of calvino's
*marcovaldo* a couple weeks back.

that's the 10th or so work of calvino's i've read in
the past decade or so.  i try to keep him to one per
year b/c i don't want to run out of "new" calvino.

truly, he is to the human imagination what W is to
negative job creation.

barry, though out there, gets snapperoos. 
*marcovaldo* is highly recommended, particularly for
those (like me nbowadays) with very short attention
spans.
