new MONK / Ric Hordinksi CD for this monkey...
Yay! I just found out that my favorite four-lettered band has a new CD out...
Monk (aka Ric Hordinski) "When I Consider How My Light Is Spent" (2003, Paste Recds)
It's the LONG-awaited, non-holiday follow-up to the August 2000 'O' EP. I think he has to pay royalties (and/or administrative assistant wages) per each letter of his albums; so he had to get a day job to be able to afford the new one...
My Monk CD already shipped... along with The Velvet Underground "Peel Slowly and See" and Chris Rea "God's Great Banana Skin".
