man in the moon

sailing alone along the horizon,
the moon blushed at her thoughts
as she accompanies him
up the stairs

the man in the moon,
while on vacation,
sang so sweetly to her
of hope and a future,
that she packed her bags
and flew away

now she lives with him
keeping house in a gray round room
while the sun chases their silhouette
but he still sings lullabies
with the lady in the moon
