i went and saw this in Seattle when a group of multiethnic women were
putting it on in the international district as a fundraiser. Outside of the
fact that they got ahead of themselves and sold twice as many tickets as
they could fit in the space they'd rented, it was marvelous. most of the
women who performed (they had 3 people up at a time doing each
"monologue"...it worked) weren't actors and they did a great job. you would
tell they were having a ball, and so were we.

i'd recommend it as well.

a friend from NYC was in town visiting her brother who has a new one month
old sweet baby boy. my husband and i went over to have breakfast with them.
we knew we'd found the right place when we heard Karin's voice wafting
through the door. A piece of home.

peace all,
chris
