i definitely thought about it.  and then i mentioned
it to my high school class at some point and the looks
of shock and disgust i got in return helped me to
realize it was probably wise not to mention supporting
free speech anytime in the near future.  at least
until i had my own clasroom (i was student teaching)

i almost went out and bought some marilyn manson cds
after seeing bowling for columbine as well.  quite
articulate and intelligent - and his opponents came
off like complete morons.
