aught n. 1. anything, whatever. 2. (n)aught, a zero
naught n. 1. nothing 2. alternate spelling of NOUGHT
i believe that the term "aught" is used when concerned
with years. i also remember reading books, etc., where
the year would be refered to as such, i.e., 1906 would
be called "aught six."
