1. Monk is playing Taft on Saturday 7 December 2002, the night after Over
The Rhine. Jai Uttal is also playing that night (the 7th). If you don't
have Monk's holiday "How Like A Winter" I recommend it highly.. Good stuff.
More info re: the concert can be gleaned from:
http://events.publicbroadcasting.net/wvxu/events.eventsmain?action=showevent&eventID=32847

2. Brian Kelley has joined a band called Anonymous Bosch this year.. I can
think of worse band names, but not many of those can be printed here with
all of you Bible folk on the list! :) Anyway, out of 173 bands signed in
to 97Xposure 2002 (local and area unsigned band contest put on annually by
the amazing WOXY), Anonymous Bosch have made it to the top 3. They are
playing this Saturday, 23 Nov 02 - they're the final band, expected to go on
just after 10PM and play a 40 minute set. I've heard they're great live.
(Not much) More info can be gleaned from www.anonymousbosch.com.

3. Ric is producing Zak Morgan's new CD, due out early 2003. Karin sings on
some of the CD, as does Robbie Fulks (GREAT!) and David Wilcox (yawn, imo).
For those of you not in the know, Zak writes great music for kids and the
production, lyrics and musicianship are definitely steps above his peers in
the kid-based market. For more info (an article about Zak), click on
http://www.citybeat.com/current/music2.shtml until Wednesday the 20th, when
they'll archive the article and you'll have to search the site for it.

Best,
Bruce
