i'd just like to send out a big huzzah (wow, i really
hope that means what i think it means) to dan for the
link. because of his selfless generosity, i am the
proud owner, after much musical soul searching when my
local borders had thousands of copies of DMB but none
of jughead, of patty griffin's flaming red. i had
heard her track on the paste magazine sampler and
figured i'd take a chance. boy, was i in for a shock.
anyone else here a fan? reminds me of what tori amos
might have sounded like if she'd grown up south of the
mason-dixon line. flaming red is NOI-ZEE. fun fun
fun.
so thanks dan for spreading the love. you'll have to
let us know what you think of jughead.
