Substitute any Belle & Sebastian in there for #3 and you have a party.  As 
long as Wizard of Oz is synchronized too.  Heh heh, just kidding.

Anyone in Cincinnati area up for a Zaireeka party?  It's a experimental CD 
put out by brilliant Flaming Lips, 8-channels of synchronized mayhem.  You 
put four boom boxes in the corners of the room, put a CD of the set in each, 
and press play simultaneously.  *Presto!* instant party!

My 5 CDs for a year and a half, if I had to pick right now:

* Shriekback - Oil & Gold
* Miles Davis + posse - Bitches Brew
* Gustav Holst - Planets Suite - performed by any responsible party
* Michael Jackson - Dangerous
* Beatles - White Album

#1 'cos it's a great mix of early-pop-punk and nighttime eerie dark + 
soothing, #2 'cos i'd learn to appreciate it after a year, everyone loves it 
and i've never given it a chance, #3 'cos it'd give me levity, #4 for 
familiarity and beats, #5 'cos i've not really digested it as a piece ever
