...here's to good friends, tonight is kind of special... let it be
Løwenbråu... as the old commercial goes, but, seriously folks, the
crowd has never been the gentlest one, and recent trends seem to be
toward wilder behaviour, especially in the last few years, when the
population has been above 25,000.
The choice to have very, very, very few drunk people (I've never seen
any, and I've been there a lot) seems a wothwhile trade for the ability
imbibe amongst all of that art/music/dance/philosophy/religion. It has
been my experience that stimulants, not depressants, are what the
festival requires (note the longstanding "coffehouse" aura that goes way
back to the early days.

Too bad about the official C-Stone rules about no alkyhaul on the
premesis. Not wanting to break those rules, I'd have to go into town..."
I must assume that everything in Bushnell is locked up tight before 2
A.M., while, a few miles away, at the festival, at least two events are
still happening.
