Cloneliness is Next to Godliness.

saw SWII:AotC this afternoon.

good movie.  it's a must see if you've ever seen any Star Wars flic...
overall movie grade: B+/A-.  action grade: A, special effects grade: A,
dialog grade: C+.

George Lucas' storytelling is good, but his dialog is and has always
been subpar.  it's either cheesy or forced or cliche or all three...
however, he paints a good picture on the canvas of film.  so i guess i
can overlook the dialog weaknesses.

anyway, high points (w/o spoiling too much):
-yoda.
-C3P0 as a cheesy joke provider has always a better option than Jar Jar
Binks.  thankfully Jar Jar has maybe 5 lines...
-lots of jedi's...
-beginnings of the Boba Fett story.  nice to see it...
-the love story, while sometimes seemingly forced, worked well with the
story.
-i can't wait for #3...

i dig the Spidey movie a lot... he's always been my childhood favorite
superhero... Star Wars is good competition.  if you haven't seen either,
i'd go see Spidey first... it was a better movie, overall.

hell, go see Amelie over either of them... it's still out in limited
release... :)
