re: foreign languages
hey, i fumbled through the german after my one
semester and as a lowly spanish teacher hoping to find
explanations of romance languages :) here's mine:
latin...roman empire...5 romance languages: romanian,
italian, french, spanish and portuguese. vulgar latin
evolved into these 5 varieties. also to be considered
is the influence of the languages spoken by the people
there prior to roman occupation.
