Thanks K, I think you answered your own question better then I could have.  
I know little of J.K.'s life, having never fallen prey to the romantic 
affectations of the beat-poet lifestyle that lead so many other 
psuedo-intellectuals of my generation into his dwindling legion of admirers. 
  I only know what I get from the song.
