It's a rat.

This was one of the trivia questions we had on the OTR trivia quiz back on my
old web page.  As I recall, the story went that there was a rubber stamp store
that Linford liked to go into and look for odd and quirky patterns, and he
found this rat stamp there, and the rest is history...
