2002 will be a GREAT year for music...
just checked the forum/message board for the Chroma
Key site and yay... Kevin is going to be releasing
two (2!!!) albums this year. http://www.chromakey.com/
one CD in June/July that's a regular "Chroma Key"
album, but a bit different... he's been holed up in
Costa Rica... writing, recording... working with
"several musicians in town including a violinist,
guitar player, & a group of musicians from Argentina
who play didjeridu, mouth harps, kalimbas and other
hand-made instruments."
I'm FREAKIN' STOKED!!
and another CD later in the year that will be an
instrumental-only Meditation CD... more ambient...
Kevin also stated that he's planning on releasing
at least one new mp3 per month...
1998's Chroma Key _Dead Air for Radios_ is one of my
favorite albums of ALL-TIME. he followed with great
albums in both 1999 and 2000. no album last year...
but two this year makes me happy as a buzzard on a...
oh nevermind... :)
it made my day/week/month...
ooo... plus... new Over the Rhine CD(?), A Perfect
Circle, Jurassic 5, Fiona Apple, Tori Amos, Elliott
Smith, Peter Mulvey, U2, Radiohead, Glen Phillips-
all in the works...
