Hello everyone
My name is Cate, I've loved OtR since I was 15 and I
found a copy of Patience on tape at a yardsale. I
listened to it until it fell apart. I kept meaning to
find another copy, and to buy all their albums, but
seven years passed and one day I saw their name on the
marquee of the Variety Playhouse in Atlanta as I was
walking home after work. I saw the show and it blew my
mind, of course. I sat at a little table right in
front of the stage. Karin's voice gave me goosebumps.
The whole experience was magical. I bought a copy of
Patience on the way out, and I've bought Eve and Till
We Have Faces since then.
A question- In Atlanta, they opened with a song that
included the lyrics "It Matters to Me". What is the
song, and what is the album? After months of abject
student poverty I finally have 20 bucks to spend on
something other than food and shelter, and I simply
must have that song.
I look forward to getting to know everyone on this
list.
