They're FUN. Until those cards it wasn't obvious that Over the Rhine had
any sense of humour whatsoever. But the cards each have a Michael Wilson
picture on the front (many from the Eve booklet) and on the back there's
little "subjects" of each card: "recording eve", "mixing eve", "what we
named our record", "what we could have named our record but didn't", "songs
that made eve", "songs that didn't" (includes Jig Newton, Murder, Last
Night, Little Blue River and I think two more), etc.
They're heavy card stock, smell of sexy fish oil (OK, I made that part up)
and make ya proud to be an Over the Rhine fan. God bless defunct IRS's
money for things like that.
