Rush has been my favorite for years and years as well. When I became a Christian, I was told I had to rid myself of all that demon music, so I kind of got out of Rush for a long time. I've just recently started the rebuild (good music to code by).
Since you mentioned RUSH and Rush L in the same post....The Trees says more about quotas, unions, liberalism, etc than the other Rush could ever coherently say. Not quite as good as Ayn Rand, but what do you expect for a 4 minute platform.
Um OTR content...I actually think that Rush and OTR have a lot of lyrical similarity, but no musical similarity. OTR is my current favorite.
