one of madonna's proteges
no, not Alanis (though she's got a new one
coming out in a month and a half)...
but JUDE... his new CD _King of Yesterday_
is GREAT!!! what a great songwriter!! :)
i love his falsetto vocal approach that he
slides into quite frequently...
this CD is similar to his 2nd album _No One
is Really Beautiful_. both great pop records.
i guess on this new one, he spent 8 months
working on a 32-song set... but ditched it
and holed up in a studio for 2 weeks and
started and finished _King of Yesterday_.
it sounds wonderful, and quite frankly, *not
rushed*. excellent stuff!!
