reading is a wonderful thing
after this, it's adios to a format i'd
forgotten why i'd forgotten...
anyway about merrill vs. whoever wrote the
other book :) it's been a year or so since
i read it, so i can't tell you exactly why
i felt tricked. (or quote the back cover for
you...sorry :) i think it had something
to do with sounding like it had ideas for
resolving many of the rifts that exist between
people who love jesus and those who don't and
then actually turned out to be about pushing
agenda.
and though i know you read all of the
back cover of 'sinners in the hands of an
angry church' on amazon.com and not the
actual book :) but since i've read them
both i would suggest that they aren't
so worlds apart as you make it seem. maybe
a bit like this whole discussion anyway.
