I need to apologize to Ysoie; this remark was far too flippant. I don't want
to make light of other people's worldviews, and doing so is inexcusable.

A more intelligent response would be simply this: in light of the knowledge
of my own horrific nature, such "we're all wonderful" notions seem to me
desperately naive. They are also every bit as closed-minded as the Christian
worldview which asserts that we are all fallen. The evidence that man is an
inherently fell creature is overwhelming.

Again, I'm sorry for being so dismissive. 50 lashes for me.
