yeah, i just got _end of the summer_ several months ago, but it's found a 
permanent spot in my cd player!  i tend to gravitate to *are you out there* 
more than *sounds*, although that is probably my second favorite song on the 
cd.

i don't really know what that line means, but i *think* that it might be 
saying this:

"where does the arrow point to, who invented roses? and what do you hear in 
these sounds?"

i think *roses* signify the precious things in life, the things that most 
people take for granted.  i think she's saying, look towards the blessed 
points in life, the little wonders that we don't notice too often, and ask 
how they got there.

as my psych prof (ha!) said in one of his e-mails to me:

The twists and turns of life. Never complain about the bad but always give
thanks for the good. 

definitely good advice from the mouth of someone who knows...

which reminds me (speaking of dar, that is)...nikki, you have my one cd!  now 
i *really* have to find time to drive to philly to get my cd!
