I get pretty much the same look whenever I tell people I've
got the entire season of Showtime's excellent "Queer As
Folk" on tape. Most people either a) Haven't heard of it, or
b) think only gay people would/should enjoy it. Truth is,
it's an excellent program and if you don't have showtime...
it's worth getting the channel purely for that show (Much
like the Sporanos is the best reason to get HBO).
It's a great show because it's as well-written, acted, and
directed as it is salacious and provocative. The soundtrack
for the show is the best use of music for dramatic and
exposure purposes I've seen on tv. And it has gorgeous boys
kissing other gorgeous boys, which I think is a good thing.
