Late to the perfect CD topic

Most of what I would say have already been mentioned by others. I think these
are unique. Intense agreement on the Yes and OTR selections, by the way.

Rick Wakeman - A Suite of Gods, Return to the Center of the Earth
Dead Can Dance - Aion
Kate Bush - Hounds of Love
Marillion - Misplaced Childhood
Marillion and Positive Light - Tales from the Engine Room
Alan Parsons - On Air, Tales of Mystery and Imagination
Rush - Signals, maybe Permanent Waves
Kerry Livgren - Prime Mover II
Moodswings - Psychedelicatessen
Pink Floyd - the aforementioned by others, plus A Momentary Lapse of Reason
Jeff Wayne - War of the Worlds.

Just another general question. When in college and afterward, my taste in
music, despite being so varied, was described as "Kent Music" by my more focused
roommates. My wife isn't much better about opening herself to this
semi-eclectic grouping ( I say "semi-eclectic" in this group, where I'm sure
Muddy Waters and Brian Eno grace many shelves together). Anyone else just feel
like they are alone in a rainy-day room with Gevalia mocha coffee and Kate
Bush's voice as their sole companions when it comes to music? Then again, maybe
it's not all bad...

Love and rockets,
- Kent
