I wonder if Linford has been reading through Philip Larking recently and got
a page
out of his book. I think it's a great poem by Linford though...

Just fished out High Windows by PL and the title poem starts as such

When i see a couple of kids
and guess he's fucking her and she's
Taking pills or wearing a diaphragm
I know this is paradise
etc etc

I suppose that was more shocking in the UK in 1972 coming from some
bitter 50-somthing librarian from Hull than it is nowadays!
