They are in fact phenomenal (sp).  quality songwriting.  for those more 
belligerant times in my life.
I saw them at the Trocodero in '98, on their "best of" tour.  My taste in 
music seems to have less to do with style and more to do with songwriting: 
OTR, King's X, VOL, Steve Earle, Palestrina (whoo, that's a bit different, 
haven't found the Palestrina chat page...lol).
