King's X made it on the Vh-1 All-Time Best in Hard Rock at #83. Not bad
for a relatively no-name, now-indie band with one hit back in 1990.

Ben Folds Five disbanded. it sucks because i thought they were gonna
have a new album later this year. but it's not all bad, because Ben's solo
stuff is pretty kickass, and drummer Darren Jesse's a good songwriter too
(see "Magic" from Reinhold Messner).

i don't think i'll try to find the U2 "Always" single. why couldn't they
just put both bsides on one bonus disc? stupid interscope marketing
department probably thought that it'd get people to buy extra copies of
this CD. whatever. i'm happy with "Summer Rain," though.
