Sorry, Kelvin, but you just redlined the Pretentiousness-O-Meter.
be that as it may, it brought to mind something that i was wondering about
while driving home from work the other day.
If that's your speedometer, and over there is your tachometer, and down
there is the odometer, then how come that thing in the corner there isn't
the gasometer? or that thing isn't the heatometer, or even the more
conventional "thermometer"? maybe you have a car with a volt gauge or an
amp gauge, yet these aren't voltometers or ampometers. 'sup with that?
